Another banner week for DVDs and Blu-rays with the studios releasing some great films such as: The Messenger [Blu-ray review, another Blu-ray review] - a powerful and thought provoking film that is both expertly directed and incredibly well acted; Invictus [Blu-ray review] - compelling, emotional viewing and absolutely worth seeing; and Walkabout (Criterion Collection) [DVD review, Blu-ray review] - one of the most towering achievements of the 1970s. It's not a total loss however.
