Gareth Edwards has carved out a spot for himself in the “no budget” world of movies with his debut feature film, Monsters, set in a quarantined zone along the southern border of the U.S., where giant space aliens have taken up residence. Before the film hits theaters October 29th, he spoke with DVDTalk's Francis Rizzo III, about what he dislikes about Cloverfield, picking the right camera and the philosophy of Mel Brooks, as well as his new film and plans for a DVD release.
