DVDTalk Interview: Delocated Creator/Star Jon Glaser
DVDTalk Interview Jon Glaser is a funny man. If something has made you laugh late at night in the past 10 years, there's a good chance he was involved. His latest effort is adult swim's Delocated, a hilarious mockumentary starring a man hiding in the witness protection program. New Game Reviews: Fallout New Vegas, DJ Hero 2, Super Scribblenauts, Kirby's Epic Yarn
fallout new vegas review Following up on their blockbuster release from 2008, Bethesda Softworks released a new journey into the Fallout universe. Check out our full review of Fallout New Vegas, released for the PC, Playstation 3 and XBox 360. On the Playstation 3, we reviewed this week's release of Activision's music game DJ Hero 2, EA's Dead Space 2 prequel Dead Space Ignition and 2K Sports Michael Jordan laden NBA 2K11. Over on Xbox Live Arcade, we checked out platformer Super Meat Boy and trigger happy shooter Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter. On Nintendo platforms, we played through Nintendo's cute platformer Kirby's Epic Yarn and the imagination based DS title Super SCribblenauts. TV on DVD: Top Gear, Tim and Eric Awesome Show, and Pirates of Dark Water
Top Gear: Complete Season 13 Some great TV shows have made their way onto DVD this week including: Top Gear: Complete Season 13 - witty, entertaining and occasionally irreverent, this show represents the best of television; Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! Season 4 - a mixture of intuitive, experimental technique and highly abstracted comedy that remains without peer; and The Pirates of Dark Water: The Complete Series - this ambitious but short-lived show blended sci-fi, fantasy and action into a cult-favorite animated series. Predators There are some new titles coming out that might make it worth a trip to the video store this week. Manson, My Name Is Evil Our reviewers have been busy this week, filling the DVD Talk Review Database more great entries. Some new reviews of note include: Manson, My Name Is Evil - a film that's shooting for much more than just being a good-looking exploitation rip-off of the Manson murders; The 8 Diagram Pole Fighter - one of the finest martial arts films finally gets a proper US DVD release; and Maniac - 30th Anniversary Edition - unrepentant fans will find this double-dip worth the price.
