DVDTalk Interview: The Secret of Kells

They recently sat down with DVDTalk's Francis Rizzo III to talk about their influences and the newly released DVDs of their hit debut film. New Game Reviews: Medal of Honor, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, and NBA Jam
Medal of Honor Review Rebooting their WWII shooter franchise, Electronic Arts released a new version of the MOH series. Check out our full review of Medal of Honor, released for the PC, XBox 360 and Playstation 3. On the Playstation 3, we reviewed Konami's action-adventure title Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, NIS anime title Atelier Rorona: The Alchemist of Arland and Playstation Move compatible John Daly's ProStroke Golf. On the Xbox 360, we checked out Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition and XBLA game Blade Kitten. For the Nintendo Wii, we covered arcade classic NBA Jam and toy inspired Gormiti: The Lords of Nature!. We also looked at the very frightening Amnesia: The Dark Descent on the PC, Hungry, Hungry Hippos inspired Monsters Love Gum for the iPad and Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1 for the iPhone / iPod Touch. New Movie Reviews: Jackass 3D, Red, and Conviction
Johnny Knoxville and the boys return to gross out a new dimension in Jackass 3D. Bruce Willis and Helen Mirren fight for their lives in the action-comedy Red. And Hilary Swank is out to prove Sam Rockwell's innocence in Conviction. Also in theaters: Districts are redrawn in the hot button political documentary Gerrymandering. Corey Feldman suits up as Edgar Frog once again in Lost Boys: The Thirst. Woody Allen hits rock bottom with You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger. And public education gets screwed while Waiting for Superman. DVD Savant: Treasure of the Sierra Madre, Crucible of Terror, and Ocean's 11
Treasure of the Sierra Madre This week the DVD Savant has a number of new reviews and articles including: Treasure of the Sierra Madre - A new Blu-ray erases many flaws from earlier discs of this John Huston classic, giving us a transfer that resembles vintage original prints; Crucible of Terror - Mad painter/sculptor Mike Raven makes bronze statues by a horribly direct method in this murder mystery with oddball supernatural trappings. Said to be from a rare uncut, uncensored print; and Ocean's 11 - The Rat Pack celebrates a 50th Anniversary with the release on Blu-ray of their first and biggest movie.
