This Week's Notable Releases: Pacific Rim, The Stranger, and Night Tide
There are a few new releases this week that you won't want to miss. Check out these hot titles: Pacific Rim [review] - Guillermo del Toro's latest film features some of the most eye-popping visual effects you've ever seen, a sound design that is completely immersive and it's even got a few original ideas under the hood; Orson Welles' The Stranger: Kino Classics Remastered Edition [review] - Kino's Blu-ray release of the Orson Welles movie looks very nice with this fresh high definition transfer taken from solid 35mm elements and it includes some excellent supplemental materials as well; and Night Tide [review] - Unique and fascinating, this 1961 film an extremely impressive feature debut from writer-director Curtis Harrington
