TV on DVD: Downton Abbey, The Fall, and Midsomer Murders
TV on DVD remains very popular with more and more favorites being released. New TV reviews include: Downton Abbey: Seasons 1, 2 & 3 - a terrific Blu-ray boxed set of all 25 episodes (uncut) covering the first three seasons, including two Christmas special shows, and some great bonus material; The Fall, Series 1 - a stirring psychological drama that epitomizes what British TV does best: It's suspenseful, gritty, bracingly realistic and thoughtfully produced; and Midsomer Murders: Series 2 - this detective show is ood, clean mayhem, with that distinctive, delightfully perverse British reserve.
Other shows recently reviewed include: CSI: Crime Scene Investigation - The Thirteenth Season, Best of an Evening at the Improv, and Marine Boy: The Complete First Season.
