DVD Savant: Hands of a Stranger, Untold History of the United States, and House on Straw Hill
This week the DVD Savant has a number of new reviews and articles including: Hands of a Stranger - A famous pianist's talented hands are mangled in a car wreck, so a daring surgeon grafts on a fresh pair from a recent corpse -- a criminal known for strangling people; Untold History of the United States - an alternate read of American history that makes a lot more sense than the self-congratulatory Official Versions. It's a monumental work and actually a pretty valid one; and House on Straw Hill - One of the original horrors labeled a 'video nasty' and banned in the UK, this suspenseful shocker doesn't try to hide its ambition to be grossout exploitation fare. Read all this and more in this week's DVD Savant.
