DVD Savant: Werner Herzog, Dark Crimes, and Scanners
This week the DVD Savant has a number of new reviews and articles including: Werner Herzog: The Collection - a massive group of films from one of the world's most original filmmakers... sixteen features and documentaries are packed with director commentaries and other extras, including a 40-page book; Dark Crimes Volume Two - The folks at Turner Classic Movies combine the Fritz Lang Paramount titles Ministry of Fear and You and Me with a pair of mid-century Universal thrillers Undertow and Hollywood Story by William Castle; and Scanners - David Cronenberg concocts a great thriller about psychic warfare among mutants altered by an experimental drug. Read all this and more in this week's DVD Savant.
