Recent Reviews: 42nd Street, Ladyhawke, and Bedlam
This week the DVD Talk Review Database has some great new entries, including a few discs you may have overlooked.
Recent reviews include:
42nd Street - Warner Archive's new Blu-ray of this seminal backstage musical is a knockout, as good as any black-and-white 1930s title in high-def to date; Ladyhawke -director Richard Donner evokes his bubbly, energetic style into this cleverly well-balanced fantasy; and After Dark Originals: Bedlam - a very good film and well worth your time... incredibly engaging, strange, beautiful, and well made.
Other recent reviews include: Blind Woman's Curse, TCM Greatest Classic Films: Legends - Maureen O'Hara, and The Mishaps of Musty Suffer Vol. 2. Visit the DVD Talk Review Database for all the latest reviews including an entire section devoted to reviews of DVDs out this week.
