This Week's Notable Releases: Leviathan, It! The Terror from Beyond Space, and Extremities
Some pretty cool discs are being released this week. Check out these new titles:
Leviathan [review] - Andrey Zvyagintsev's haunting and spellbinding film is a somber tale built on hopelessness and palpable anger towards the establishment; It! The Terror from Beyond Space [review] - a sharply written, well-crafted collision of horror and science fiction and this Blu-ray release presents one of the 50's most extraordinary genre efforts in its theatrical aspect ratio for the first time; and Extremities [review] - a tense morality play in which Farah Fawcett plays a sexual assault victim that turns the tables on her attacker.
Other reviews of note include: American Sniper [review], Cymbeline [review], and Flawless [review].
