Some great TV shows have made their way onto DVD recently including: Gotham: The Complete First Season - an attempt to recapture the magic of Smallville in a darker environment, this show is a blend of crime-case procedure and mobster politics that also fills in the gaps between the orphaning of Bruce Wayne to where Batman begins; Big Bang Theory: Season 8 - The uber-popular series is entertaining in its eighth season, it's a solid, breezy sitcom with an appealing cast; and Elementary: Season 3 - an entertaining, well-made, and impressive series with a modern spin on the Sherlock Holmes character.
