Recent Reviews: The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, Charlie Chaplin, and Troll
The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies (Extended Edition) Some cool discs have been reviewed over the past week. Check out these recent entries: The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies (Extended Edition) - a decent conclusion to Peter Jackson's epic trilogy, fans will no doubt want to own this extended edition, which offers fantastic picture and sound quality, hours upon hours of extras, and 20 minutes of additional footage; Chaplin's Essanay Comedies - a fantastic collection of 15 Chaplin shorts, they're very funny and entertaining even a century after they were made; Troll / Troll 2 - these movies still play brilliantly as a double feature... they're both dark fairy tales, they're fiercely imaginative, and they're entirely too fun for words. it's too good to pass up. Other recent reviews include: Bad Boys / Bad Boys II, The Safecracker, and The End of the Tour.  Visit the DVD Talk Review Database for all the latest reviews including an entire section devoted to reviews of DVDs out this week.
