This Week's Notable Releases: Suspicion, Bride of Re-Animator, and The Forest
This week several great movies are coming out, including a few that shouldn't be missed:
Suspicion [review] - an underrated entry in Alfred Hitchcock's formidable back catalog, serving up plenty of suspense, atmosphere, and terrific dialogue from start to almost-finish; and Bride of Re-Animator [review] - this sequel might not be the undisputed classic that the original film is but it's a worthy sequel in its own right; and The Forest [review] - the Japanese 'suicide forest' should have been a great setting, but this movie is boring with muddled mythology and a distinct lack of scares.
