This Week's Notable Releases: Suspicion, Bride of Re-Animator, and The Forest
Suspicion This week several great movies are coming out, including a few that shouldn't be missed: Suspicion [review] - an underrated entry in Alfred Hitchcock's formidable back catalog, serving up plenty of suspense, atmosphere, and terrific dialogue from start to almost-finish; and Bride of Re-Animator [review] - this sequel might not be the undisputed classic that the original film is but it's a worthy sequel in its own right; and The Forest [review] - the Japanese 'suicide forest' should have been a great setting, but this movie is boring with muddled mythology and a distinct lack of scares. Be sure to check out our DVD Talk Review Database for all the latest reviews including an entire section devoted to reviews of DVDs out this week.
