New Reviews: Ray Harryhausen, Carnival of Souls, and Panic in Needle Park
This week the DVD Talk Review Database has some great new entries, including a few discs you may have overlooked.
Recent reviews include:
Ray Harryhausen: Special Effects Titan - a loving tribute to one of the most talented and wildly influential artists in the history of cinema; Carnival of Souls - a high point in low budget American horror from the sixties, standing tall alongside other notable genre entries like Night of the Living Dead; and The Panic in Needle Park - this movie is bleak as hell, but its loose style, infused with the energy of the street, and the outstanding performances from young Al Pacino and Kitty Winn make the film intensely watchable and highly recommended.
