Recent Notable Releases: Star Trek Beyond, Burial Ground, and Night of the Grizzly
There are some new titles coming out that might make it worth a trip to the video store. Check out these recent releases:
Star Trek Beyond - despite ditching intellect for non-stop action, the spectacle is so constant and over-the-top, that it's a fun ride that makes up for the film's lack of fresh ideas; Burial Ground - fat-packed with ghouls of every possible flavor, it's eightysomething minutes of nonstop zombie carnage, and it's so completely off the rails that you just can't turn away; and Night of the Grizzly - popular during the 1970s as a family staple, this "family film with teeth" serves up a mix of comedy, drama, and action that hasn't so much aged well as remained frozen in time.
