Some great TV shows have made their way onto home video recently including: Miami Vice - The Complete Series - this show holds up well... the series finds the right balance of style and substance and it features great work from the two leads and a killer supporting cast; Girlfriend Experience: Season One - Amy Seimetz and Lodge Kerrigan do a fantastic job with the appropriate levels of depth in this character study; and American Horror Story: Hotel - a reliable macabre-themed staple this fifth season of the show, broadens its focus a bit, drawing together vampires and mass-murderers and other supernatural entities into a surreal melting pot: a multi-floor building comprised of timeless, moody art-deco accouterments.
