Another banner week for home video with the studios releasing some great films and boxed sets such as: Microcosmos - a visually stunning and captivating glimpse into the insect world, this film is a hallmark in both the nature and (essentially) non-narrative documentary genre; The Expendables 4K Ultra HD - the 4K version of this high octane action film is entirely faithful to the source, the audio is absolutely explosive, and the supplements are pretty awesome; and Caltiki, The Immortal Monster - a terrific sci-fi horror thriller… an overachieving 'something made from nothing' epic that boosted director Mario Bava's reputation in the Italian film industry.
