New Reviews: Logan, Canoa, and The Stone Killer
Check out the latest reviews that have been entered into the DVD
Talk Review Database including:
Logan - bold and daring, this movie does take a cinematic mythology and puts it on its head with themes that comic book action films usually don't explore; Canoa: A Shameful Memory - Criterion Collection - little known in this country, the film is a startling recreation of a real-life incident of mass psychosis… a postmodern political thriller that turns into an outright horror film; and The Stone Killer - falls squarely in the middle of Charles Bronson's filmography, this movie is a rather muddled cop thriller with no clear aim, despite some interesting concepts, an excellent cast, and a slam-bang climax.
