New Reviews: The Ballad of Cable Hogue, Martin Scorsese's World Cinema Project, and Trespass
Some great DVD and Blu-ray reviews have been added to the the DVD
Talk Review Database recently including:
The Ballad of Cable Hogue - wonderfully acted and beautifully shot, though this film represents a slightly gentler Sam Peckinpah it is no less fascinating or entertaining for it; Martin Scorsese's World Cinema Project No. 2 - Scorsese presents six more international films that his foundation has preserved… all of which are well worth seeing; and Trespass - a forgotten but entirely enjoyable 1992 thriller with great casting, impressive stunt work, plenty of hard-hitting action, tight pacing, and a memorable atmosphere that all work to its advantage.
