Some pretty cool discs have made their way to store shelves over the past couple of weeks. Check out these new titles: The Lodger - A Story of the London Fog: Criterion Collection - Alfred Hitchcock's early film is filled with clever visual flourishes, wonderfully unique design elements, and a handful of memorable performances… a silent film that still has the capacity to thrill modern audiences from start to finish; Death Line - Gary Sherman's morbid 1972 epic is well directed and acted, and it doesn't show the frayed technical edges that mar many another low budget horror flicks; and Joe Versus the Volcano - one of those rare romantic comedies that should appeal to even those who despise romantic comedies… as patently bizarre as it is genuinely funny.
