Several great movies and programs have come out recently, including a few that shouldn't be missed: T2 Trainspotting - smart, funny, and stylish, this is a great movie worthy of standing next to Trainspotting on a film fan's shelf; Madhouse - filmed stylishly with a smattering of shocking gore elements, Euro-horror completists will enjoy having a good-looking copy of this movie to enjoy on a late night; and Rise of the Planet of the Apes (4K) - a pleasant surprise when it hit theaters back in 2011, this film still holds up as one of the few reboots that doesn't dishonor the original movie upon which it is based.
