Notable Releases: Castle in the Sky, The Lift, and Scarecrow
Castle in the Sky There are a few new releases that you won't want to miss. Check out these hot titles: Castle in the Sky - the film fires on all cylinders: it's loaded with great characters, kinetic action scenes, suspense, drama, memorable music, and mystery that kids of all ages can enjoy; The Lift - an enjoyable little horror import that's aged extremely well since 1983, thanks to its great atmosphere and a well-executed premise; and Scarecrow (1973) - a small, intimate, and character-driven film that has sharp dialogue, plenty of drama, a little bit of comedy, and a subtle role reversal that will make viewers miss the era in which films like this were much more commonplace. Be sure to check out our DVD Talk Review Database for all the latest reviews including an entire section devoted to reviews of DVDs out this week.
