Several great movies and programs have come out recently, including a few that shouldn't be missed: Logan Lucky - director Steven Soderbergh and star Channing Tatum manage to create a fun, funny and occasionally suspenseful web through NASCAR and the I-77 and I-85 roadways; Animal Factory: Special Edition - a well-acted, refreshing slice of prison drama that's aged well since its quiet 2000 theatrical release… it feels like a realistic and extremely natural examination of people trapped in a hostile, numbing environment; and The Woman in Red - dated and only fitfully funny, though worth seeing once for its cast, particularly writer/director/star Gene Wilder.
