New Reviews: The Awful Truth, Basket Case, and Frank Serpico
Some cool discs have been reviewed over the past week. Check out these recent entries:
The Awful Truth - a true gem and early career highlight for Cary Grant and Irene Dunn, Leo McCarey's film stands tall as one of the best examples of screwball comedy done exactly right; Basket Case - Arrow Video once again knocks it out of the park when it comes to their releases of important cult films, with a stellar A/V presentation and an overabundance of extras; and Frank Serpico - this documentary looks at the real-life cop who Al Pacino and Sidney Lumet made famous in their 1973 film that bears his name.
