New Reviews: Game Night, Annihilation, and Shocking Dark
This week the DVD Talk Review Database has some great new entries, including a few discs you may have overlooked.
Recent reviews include:
Game Night - thanks to a ridiculously likeable cast, a fun premise, and a surprising amount of style, this movie is one of the best and most satisfying original studio comedies in recent memory; Annihilation (4K Ultra HD) - challenging, beautifully shot and thought-provoking, this is another exciting science fiction film from Alex Garland; and Shocking Dark - a borderline-incomprehensible Italian knockoff of both The Terminator and Aliens, courtesy of the brilliant minds behind Troll 2 and Hell of the Living Dead… you're in for a hell of a treat.
Be sure to check out our DVD Talk Review Database for all the latest reviews including an entire section devoted to reviews of DVDs out this week.
