It'd be a good week to go to the movies. Here are DVD Talk's recent theatrical reviews: Deadpool 2 [a second review] - an action-packed middle finger to the film industry, while still working as an early-summer blockbuster; Solo: A Star Wars Story - Chewie stole the show, it's always great to see the Falcon, double crosses abound, and blasters are blasted... if you're prepared to be a fan you will walk away happy; and Won't You Be My Neighbor? - a new documentary about TV's Mister Rogers, the film makes it clear that the ability to listen and to be empathetic is something that we humans need to hang onto... especially into these hot-tempered times Check out these, and more, in DVDTalk's Theatrical Review section.

This week the DVD Talk Review Database has some great new entries, including a few discs you may have overlooked. Recent reviews include: Game Night - thanks to a ridiculously likeable cast, a fun premise, and a surprising amount of style, this movie is one of the best and most satisfying original studio comedies in recent memory; Annihilation (4K Ultra HD) - challenging, beautifully shot and thought-provoking, this is another exciting science fiction film from Alex Garland; and Shocking Dark - a borderline-incomprehensible Italian knockoff of both The Terminator and Aliens, courtesy of the brilliant minds behind Troll 2 and Hell of the Living Dead… you're in for a hell of a treat. There are some new titles coming out that might make it worth a trip to the video store. Check out these recent releases: Satellite Girl and Milk Cow - a movie bursting with imagination like this can't help but be infectiously fun, and its unapologetically silly sense of humor will leave you laughing throughout; and Coming to America: 30th Anniversary Edition - a fine example of enjoyable 1980s comedy that's aged but still worth watching, thanks mostly to its charismatic leads and an off-the-wall premise that's executed nicely.
