Fans Make it So - My So Called Life Box Set
A great example of the power of DVD fans is the release of the My So Called Life Box Set. Exclusively licensed by Another Universe due to strong fan base support! Set for release in late May or Early June the My So Called Life Box Set the box set will come in 2 parts episodes 1-19 and episodes 4-19 be presented in 5.1 Dolby Digital in it's OAR of 1.33:1. Currently they are planning on packaging the set in a mini “My So Called Life” lunchbox and with a 5th DVD of bonus material. The manufacturing run will be a limited one so if you're interested in My So Called Life you should pre-order it as they may not have stock available after the initial pre-order run.

HBO Presses Pause on The Mr Show DVD :(
Bad news for Mr Show fans: the rumors making their rounds around the 'net about HBO putting the DVD release Mr Show : The Complete First and Second Seasons on hold are true. We got a release today from HBO saying in fact Mr Show : The Complete First and Second Seasons DVD 'has been temporarily pulled from the release schedule' and 'the new street date will be timed to coincided with the theatrical release of Run Ronnie Run. Mr Show was scheduled for a 4/2 release, and unfortunately 'Run Ronnie Run' isn't scheduled for theatrical release until possibly August/September 2002.

Please Welcome Our Newest DVD Talk Reviewer
We're happy to announce and addition to the DVD Talk Review Panel: Christopher Simons. Chris has been a DVD Talk member since July of 2000 and like many DVD Addicts has ammassed an impressive collection of DVDs, he averages a movie a night and 'has a thing that lets him turn off the lights from the couch without that stupid clapping' (hey we were impressed!). Chris has kids and promises to share his and their responses to some of the Kids DVDs being released. He's got eclectic tastes including being a huge fan of documentary, classics, musicals and more.
