Lord of The Rings DVD!
We're back from our trip to LA and the Lord of The Rings Event. It was great to see New Line so excited about DVD and their plans for the '3' upcoming DVD releases for Lord of The Rings. Although the event was fun, we most enjoyed the opportunity to talk with almost all the top online stores, all of which were there for the event!. We've got complete coverage of the Lord of The Rings DVDs and our experience at the event in Our Week in DVD and Movies.

CineSchlock-O-Rama: Cheaters - Season One
Columnist G. Noel Gross barely avoids squealing like a giddy school girl over the uncensored release of Cheaters: Best of Season One. Join host Tommy Grand as he guides viewers through four salacious tales of infidelity replete with a Slurpee-lovin' stripper, failed rockers and a screaming catfight between two buxom babes. Elite tops itself with its Night of the Living Dead: Millennium Edition. More evangelical exploitation in Megiddo: Omega Code 2. Penthouse Pet Amy Lynn Baxter in Golfballs! Plus, responses to reader emails and It's Alive! joins CineSchlock-O-Rama's Most Wanted.

Kung-Fu DVD Sale
HKFlix.com has 5 new Ground Zero DVDs up on their site for $9.95 each. While we're really not fans of the Wu-Tang Clan (who introduce each movie), Ground Zero has packed these DVDs with a lot of bonus material including extra fight scenes. At $9.95 the Ground Zero DVDs are a good way to get a cheap Kung-Fu fix. Also, read DVD Talk Reviewer John Wallis' take on the other Ground Zero DVDs in this series

Catch Up With The DVD Savant
If you haven't checked in with The DVD Savant lately, you'll want to catch up with a number of his new musings and reviews including: a look at Criterion's release of Akira Kurosawa's Rashomon , Columbia Tri-Star's release of the HG Wells' First Men IN the Moon as well as an inadept look at The Hollywood Children of Ray Harryhausen who directed First Men IN the Moon - it's 'Savant Gold'! Finally, be sure not to miss The DVD Savant's review of The Atomic Cafe - the famous 1982 'duck and cover' classic, a subversively funny amalgam of propaganda films from the 50's.
