New Movie Reviews: 28 Weeks Later, Georgia Rule, and The Ex
Danny Boyle and Alex Garland may not be back (at least not as the directing and writing team), but 28 Weeks Later still packs quite the rage-virus-inspired punch. Juan Carlos Fresnadillo takes a seat in the director's chair and picks up the story six months after London was ravaged by the deadly virus. Get your rage on as 28 Weeks Later opens everywhere this weekend. Also in theaters this week is Georgia Rule - this blunder of a film will probably end up being remembered only for Lindsay Lohan's on-set antics; The Ex - Zach Braff seems to have the slacker thing down to a science at this point; and Away From Her - the immensely talented Sarah Polley makes her feature-length directorial debut with this heartfelt adaptation of an Alice Munro story. Be sure to catch reviews of other recent Theatrical Films: Blind Dating, Spider-Man 3, Waitress, Lucky You, Killer of Sheep, The Invisible, Kickin' It Old Skool, Year of the Dog, Zoo. As always, we invite you to share your thoughts on films in theaters in our Movie Talk Forum Area.
