The Movie

Playboy's Women of Walmart is a documentary-style video with a mix of special interest. It is one of many themed features, where Playboy video went across America in search of the attractive female employees who were employed at Wal-Mart stores. They found seven girls in Colorado, California, Montana, New York, Illinois, and Florida. For those who do not know much about the company, Wal-Mart is a huge worldwide retailer that has well over a million employees, and almost four thousand stores in sixteen countries (including the US). Wal-Mart is well-known for their "rolling back" prices motto and in this Playboy video, seven different girls roll back their clothes and bare it all!

I don't know about you, but when I go into a Wal-Mart store I am not there to meet the ladies. I am usually thinking about getting laundry detergent or this week's new DVD releases. I don't think of beautiful, glamorous women abound, but Playboy did and they managed to find seven lovely ladies who were more than excited to bare it all. I suppose with well over a million employees, there were bound to be some great candidates for this feature. Regardless, in Women of Wal-Mart, you will see seven different girls get naked and do it with a smile. They include Beth Beanblossom (customer service), Tesha Mullen (photo technician), Deborah Moss (overnight stocker), Suzan Battaglia (cashier), Katie McKee (department manager), Tiffany Stephens (grocery), and Kristi Jones (sales assocaite).

Each scene features the girls going through a rather in-depth interview and providing narration. The content focuses on their lifestyles and gives you a chance to get to know them. There are even up close and personal interviews included as an extra for more details. The girls also talk about their experience posing for Playboy and what it was like, etc. There is also behind the scenes footage preparing for the photo shoots and such. But of course, the focus is on their nude bodies. And nude do they get.

Here is the feature's chapter listing.

1. Introduction
2. Beth Beanblossom
3. Tesha Mullen
4. Deborah Moss
5. Suzan Battaglia
6. Katie McKee
7. Tiffany Stephens
8. Kristi Jones
9. End Credits

Overall, Women of Wal-Mart has some appeal. While I am usually bored with Playboy videos after a few minutes of watching, I managed to keep my interest for a while longer. Part of the reason was Tesha. She is a beauty. The other girls aren't bad on the eyes either. I suppose the other portion of interest is their narration, there is more said than "my turn ons include..." But still, while I enjoyed this release more than other Playboy videos, I was far from in love with it. I surely cannot imagine watching it again.

The DVD

Video:
The feature is presented in 1.33:1 ratio full screen color. The quality is pretty good with a clean picture and rich colors. However, there are portions with slight grain and noticeable ghosting.

Audio:
The audio is given in 2.0 Dolby digital stereo sound. The sound quality is good, except it offers very little distinction in separation between channels. There is a lot of spoken dialogue, most of which occurs concurrently with background music. Both are quite easy to hear.

Extras:
Women of Wal-Mart has a decent line-up for special features. First is "Playboy Music Clips", which looks great. The feature is presented in an anamorphic widescreen color. It runs for approximately nineteen minutes and has footage of Deborah, Katie, Suzan, Beth, Kristi, Tiffany, and Tesha in a photo shoot. They can be watched individually or all at once via the play all option. Next is "Candid Interviews" with the same seven girls. It features up close and personal interviews to give you an idea who they are. You can watch the interviews individually or all at once. It runs for fifteen minutes. Finally, there is a photo gallery and trailers for Inside The Sexy Girls Next Door House Not-So Private, The Ultimate Playmate Search, 2004 Video Playmate Calendar, Women Of Starbucks, And Playboy Celebrity Photographers.

Final Thoughts:
Women of Wal-Mart is a Playboy video with a focus on the blue collar working girls from one of the largest retail stores in the world. The feature focuses on seven different women who hold positions from cashier to sales associate to department manager. No matter their positions or job duties, they take off their clothes with a smile. These girls "play out" the fantasy of meeting girls in common places who are willing to service your beyond the call of duty. While I did not fall in love this particular Playboy video, I was not nearly as bored with it as others. It should make for a decent watch if you enjoy sitting through narrations and seeing attractive girls remove their clothing.
