The Movie:
From what I can surmise Teenagers from Uranus is a film that 3 guys from Virginia conjured up (elements in the movie hint to this). The movie starts with some poorly drawn penis' talking to a giant anus that poops hand signals. Yes, you read that sentence correctly, and yes it is as bad as it sounds. There are a few short parody skits thrown into the mix, which are poor at best. And then the Jackass stunts come in. They trash a hotel room, get yelled at, and throw poop on each other. Again yes, you read that correctly. This movie is like a variety show, but no variety show I would ever want to watch. Not only was the premise stupid but at times it was repulsing. In some cases I find poop to be a very funny comedy medium. But then again, a good poop joke can be taken too far, and this movie does it over and over.

This movie (if I can call it that) is a mix between reality and some poorly drawn animation. It's very possible that the film makers wanted to combine two very funny (in my opinion) genres, those shown on Adult Swim, and reality TV shows like Jackass. But in creating this hybrid they decided that funny was just to much work.

I did enjoy the scenes where it was real graffiti artists doing graffiti (disclaimer: I and DVD Talk do not under any circumstances condone illegal activity in any form -thanks) I have always found graffiti to be very interesting in that it's all free hand and very creative. These scenes tended to be a bit long, like it was "filler" for the rest of this movie.

I don't even think I need to give you my recommendation on this film. But for those of you who skipped to the last paragraph here it is. I recommend you skip this film. It's stupid, redundant, sick, and a poor Jackass wannabe.

Video:
It has a 1.33:1 aspect ratio, nothing special. The actual visual quality of the film was obviously filmed on a couple hand held cameras which tend to shake a bit, but it doesn't really hold the movie back.

Sound: The audio is nothing special, 2.0 Dolby Digital English (no other language options). The Microphones used are "hollow" sounding and not at all impressive, the constant hard metal music (which I'm a fan of) gets very old, as the music is by bands nobody has heard of, not because they're underground but because they suck.

Extras: There are some "extended and deleted scenes" included in the extras. These are the scenes that didn't make it into the movie, which gives you an idea on the quality. There is also some prank phone calls, that just seem to be poorly executed. I love prank phone calls, but these were no prank phone calls (again, prank phone calls are illegal blah blah blah). There's a interview with the director, which is very stupid and you get nothing out of it, besides more insight into the mind of a crappy film maker!

Final Thoughts:
Between the disgusting poop jokes, and the stupid humor this movie is going in the "show to my children so they know what not to do when they grow up" box. If it had been executed a little.. no lot better, and the graffiti embraced a little more, this movie could have scored higher, but it just doesn't do anything even close to perfection. Put simply, DON'T WATCH THIS MOVIE.
