This Week's Notable DVDs (8/10-8/17)
A fantastic week for notable DVDs including: The Lost Boys [Review] - a great mix of humor and horror in a film that was a catalyst for a neo-vampire movement as well as a landmark for "The 2 Coreys", Alf: Season One - our favorite little Melmacian finally comes to dvd and he's as sharp and caustically funny as ever, Conan O'Brien 10th Anniversary Special [Review] - a great tribute to one of the most talented men of late-night TV, Best of Triumph the Insult Comic Dog [Review] - direct from the Conan show, a complete collection of all things Triumph, Predator: Special Edition [Review] - perhaps the only movie to feature 2 actor-turned-governors (Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jesse Ventura) and still somehow Snaggletooth manages steal the show. Finally, Kill Bill, Volume 2 [Review] - it's the 'Charles Bronsonesque' chapter of Tarantino's mega revenge flick with all the style and hoopla you'd expect. Read our Complete List of Upcoming DVDs for more great DVDs out this week, and visit our DVD Talk Review Database for all the latest reviews including a new section devoted entirely to reviews of DVDs out this week.
