New Movie Reviews: Rocky Balboa, Good Shepherd, and Night at the Museum
Sly Stallone steps back into the ring as Rocky Balboa and hopes to knock out the competition over the long holiday. So strap on your gloves, run up those legendary steps, and go two-to-two with Rocky Balboa as it opens wide this weekend. Also in theaters this week is The Good Shepherd - Robert De Niro directs Matt Damon in this film about the history and evolution of the CIA; Night at the Museum - Ben Stiller's latest film has a lot of heart and potential, but ends up a bit misguided; and Letters from Iwo Jima - this second part of Clint Eastwood's WWII project (the first part being Flags of our Fathers) captures the U.S.-led invasion of Iwo Jima from the perspective of the Japanese soldiers. Be sure to catch reviews of other recent Theatrical Films: We Are Marshall, Children of Men, Venus, Curse of the Golden Flower, The Painted Veil, Eragon, The Pursuit of Happyness, Charlotte's Web, The Good German, Dreamgirls, Volver, Home of the Brave, Blood Diamond, The Holiday, Apocalypto, Unaccompanied Minors. As always, we invite you to share your thoughts on films in theaters in our Movie Talk Forum Area.
