New DVD Reviews: Rear Window, L.A. Confidential, and Reprise
Some great DVD reviews have been added to the the DVD
Talk Review Database recently, so many that it's hard to decide which ones to profile. Here are some of the stand out discs you might want to check out: Rear Window: Special Edition one of the director's true crowning achievements: it's a perfect marriage of style and substance, punctuated by fantastic performances, a strong pace and once of the most memorable third acts in film history; L.A. Confidential: Two-Disc Special Edition - a wonderfully engaging film that, only gets better with time; and Reprise - Energetic, smart and touching, this film conjures up some of the magic that permeated the French New Wave of early Truffaut and Godard. Other recent reviews include: Larry Flynt: The Right to Be Left Alone, Savage Streets - Special Edition, and Marco Ferreri: The Collection . Visit the DVD
Talk Review Database for all the latest
reviews including an entire section devoted to reviews
of DVDs out this week and the ability to browse
reviews by studio.
