This Week's Notable DVDs: The Dark Knight, Lost, and Horton Hears a Who
This week one of the most talked about summer movies is coming out at last: The Dark Knight [DVD review, Blu-ray review] - this action-packed follow-up to Batman Begins only edged the bar higher for big-screen comic book adaptations; Believe it or not, there are other DVDs being released this week too. Some of the more notable titles include: Lost - The Complete Fourth Season [DVD review, Blu-ray review] - non-stop tension, brand new time mechanics, a handful of quality fresh faces, and a heaping helping of all the regular trimmings that make it one of the best television shows around; and Horton Hears a Who [review]- the Dr. Seuss classic gets adapted into a CGI film that will appeal the kids and adults alike.
Other releases of note include: Europa - Criterion Collection [review], I Am Legend Ultimate Collector's Edition, and Anamorph [DVD review].
