This Week's Notable DVDs: More Trek on Blu-ray, Plague Town, and Taken
Some great DVDs are being released this week, and DVDTalk has them covered. Some of the more notable releases include: Star Trek: Original Motion Picture Collection [Blu-ray] - which features all six original crew movies as well as a bonus disc that contains a 70-minute round table interview with members from the original series as well as the Next Generation; Plague Town [review] - a smart, economical, gory thriller; and Taken [DVD review, a 2nd DVD review] - a tight, twisted, lovable distraction that packs a wallop over 90 taut, tempting Liam Neesony minutes.
Other releases of note include: Seth MacFarlane's Cavalcade of Cartoon Comedy [review], Underworld: Rise of the Lycans (Blu-ray) [review], and Galaxy Quest: Deluxe Edition [review].
Be sure to check out our DVD Talk Review Database for all the latest reviews including an entire section devoted to reviews of DVDs out this week.
