New Movie Reviews: Whiteout, Sorority Row, and It Might Get Loud
Kate Beckinsale battles the cold, screen logic, and a serial killer in the Antarctic thriller Whiteout. DVD Talk critics Brian Orndorf and Jamie S. Rich feel the chill. A college prank turns into an invitation to kill on Sorority Row. And Jimmy Page, The Edge, and Jack White trade guitar war stories in the documentary It Might Get Loud. Also in theaters: Tyler Perry returns to the land of melodrama and cross-dressing in I Can Do Bad All By Myself. Stitchpunks go wild in the challenging animated film 9. Stalking makes for one of the best indie comedies of the year in White on Rice. Live life with nature, not against, like the No Impact Man. It's crime and opportunity for Lorna's Silence. And a family of Palestinians make a home in Illinois in the dramedy Amreeka. Be sure to catch reviews of other recent Theatrical Films: Halloween II, The Final Destination, Inglourious Basterds, The September Issue, All About Steve, World's Greatest Dad, Gamer, Extract, American Casino, Julie & Julia, Tickling Leo, and G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra. As always, we invite you to share your thoughts on films In Theaters in our Movie Talk Forum.
