New DVD Reviews: Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, Bad Lieutenant, and Tales from the Script
Some cool discs have been reviewed over the past week. Check out these recent entries: The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus - unfairly shuffled aside on theatrical release, this latest Terry Gilliam film is often quite inspired ; Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans - this remains one of 2009's overlooked gems; and Tales from the Script - an excellent documentary highlighting some of the most important and unsung participants in the filmmaking process: the script writer.
Other recent reviews include: an entry from this year's After Dark Horror Fest Hidden, Troubled Water, and Book of Lore / Grave Mistakes. Visit the DVD Talk Review Database for all the latest reviews including an entire section devoted to reviews of DVDs out this week.
