This Week's Notable DVDs: A Trip to the Moon, Thou Shalt Not Kill... Except, and Donald Glover - Weirdo
This week several great movies are coming out, including a few that shouldn't be missed: A Trip to the Moon Restored [Blu-ray review] - an important landmark in the history of cinema rounded out with a bounty of contextualizing extras that draw us further into and behind the Méliès magic; Thou Shalt Not Kill... Except [Blu-ray review] - Vietnam vets versus the Manson Family...'Nuff said!; and Donald Glover - Weirdo [DVD review] - the man is simply funny and his on-stage persona is so energetic, giddy, and fun that this special is inherently a good time.
Other reviews of note include Kate & Leopold: Director's Cut [Blu-ray review], Conversation Piece / Gruppo Di Famiglia In Un Interno [Blu-ray review], and Fix: The Ministry Movie [DVD review].
