Another banner week for DVDs with the studios releasing some great films and boxed sets such as: Captain Phillips [review] - Tom Hanks stars in this tense, real-life story of a commercial ship captain whose boat is captured by Somalian pirates; Blue Jasmine [review] - easily one of Woody Allen's best films and Cate Blanchett is amazing; and Nostalghia [review] - director Andrei Tarkovksy's film is a personal work from an artist struggling with his own failures and banishment from the country where he was born.
