This Week's Notable Releases: Transformers: Age of Extinction, Betty Boop, and Motown 25
This week several great movies are coming out, including a few that shouldn't be missed:
Transformers: Age of Extinction [review] - Michael Bay returns to direct this massive, 165-minute action spectacle, and Mark Wahlberg steps into the lead alongside Optimus Prime and the Autobots; Betty Boop: The Essential Collection, Volume 4 [review] - Another must-have for animation buffs and a set guaranteed to enchant children and adults alike heretofore unfamiliar with these phantasmagorical cartoons; and Motown 25: Yesterday, Today, Forever [review] - Over thirty years after it originally aired on network television this music-filled special is finally being released on DVD... it is filled with famous acts but the highlight is Michael Jackson's indelible, Emmy-nominated performance of Billie Jean, (where he introduces the world to the moonwalk).
Other reviews of note include: Chef [review], Ali: Fear Eats the Soul [review], and One Piece: Film Z [review].
