TV on DVD: The Legend of Lizzie Borden, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and Mom
More TV shows have made their way on to DVD, and DVD Talk has got them covered. Check out our reviews of the newest TV releases including:
The Legend of Lizzie Borden - this long-lost TV horror classici is filled with haunting, dreamy, crazy nightmare thrills and Elizabeth Montgomery scares you with a truly frightening, preternaturally effective performance; Brooklyn Nine-Nine: Season 1 - a rare show that emerges fully-formed from its first episode, a hilarious ensemble comedy that manages to tell some interesting, entertaining police stories while earning its laughs from the interactions of the characters; and Mom: The Complete First Season - Buoyed by Anna Faris and Allison Janney as ex-addicts with contrasting attitudes towards motherhood, this caffeinated, chaotic yet very promising show is worth checking out.
Other shows recently reviewed include: SpongeBob SquarePants: SpongeBob, You're Fired!, Dennis Brown Live: Rockers TV, and My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic: Spooktacular Pony Tales.
