There are some new titles coming out that might make it worth a trip to the video store this week. Check out these recent releases: Nightbreed: The Director's Cut [review] - a legitimate director's cut of the movie, it includes a lot of new footage and corrects the results of studio meddling... the film is immeasurably improved because of it; The Vanishing [review] - a masterpiece, really... the performances and technique on display are uniformly excellent while the story remains both engaging and genuinely frightening; and WKRP In Cincinnati: The Complete Series [review] - the place of WKRP within television history is an understated one, one that deserves more attention... when the show goes for laughs, they hit all of pitches thrown at them. Now the program finally has the quality release it deserves.
