This Week's Notable Releases: What We Do in the Shadows, Black Sabbath, and Madhouse
There are some new titles coming out that might make it worth a trip to the video store this week. Check out these recent releases:
What We Do in the Shadows [review] - a delightful surprise, an expertly-crafted mockumentary that combines a loving perspective on vampire legends with fun, deadpan comedy; Black Sabbath [review] - Mario Bava's take on the horror anthology film gets a long overdue Blu-ray release... one of Bava's finest moments and definitely worth owning; and Madhouse [review] - there is some effective dark humor here in amongst the more traditional horror elements and the end result is a whole lot of fun.
Other reviews of note include: Cemetery Without Crosses [review], I, Madman [review], and House of 1000 Dolls [review].
