Sometimes a release just outstanding... a fantastic movie with a great transfer and fun, informative extras. These rare, top shelf discs earn the DVD Talk Collector's Series rating and it's hard to get. Here are some recent releases that have made the mark: Thunderbirds: The Complete Series - the handmade yet often ingenious craftsmanship of this Supermarionation series still dazzles; House of Bamboo - this Samuel Fuller film is a pulpy confection of gangster action, and Twilight Time's disc comes with a great-looking transfer from a new 4K scan; and The Giant Spider Invasion - packed with shivery thrills, a handful of tarantulas, good old 'Southern Melodrama', and the greatest fake giant spider ever put to screen, this movie is pure fun.
