New Reviews: Eye of the Needle, The Fake, and Hush... Hush, Sweet Charlotte
This week the DVD Talk Review Database has some great new entries, including a few discs you may have overlooked.
Recent reviews include:
Eye of the Needle - a pretty efficient and intense thriller, with some really spectacular work in the final chase sequence; The Fake (2013) - a cynical animated tale of a con man who uses religion to fleece a poor town of its meager savings and the self-interested jerk who intends to make him pay; and Hush... Hush, Sweet Charlotte - this black-and-white Southern Gothic potboiler from 1964 is smoothly paced and assuredly directed by Robert Aldrich, and sumptuously shot by Joseph Biroc.
Visit the DVD Talk Review Database for all the latest reviews including an entire section devoted to reviews of DVDs out this week.
