It'd be a good week to go to the movies. Here are DVD Talk's recent theatrical reviews: Logan - a solid feature... something that innovates while still harking back, a movie that should please a large audience and make us thirsty for more; Kong: Skull Island - this is an action movie with Kong as an odd sort of hero... a film we want to watch despite its poorer properties; and Beauty and the Beast (2017) - almost everything goes right in this risky venture that could have fallen flat on its face. The result is a delightful and entertaining film. Other recent films include: Split, Gold, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, ans La La Land.
