New Reviews: The Zookeeper's Wife, The Bridge at Remagen, and Curse of the Pink Panther
Check out the latest reviews that have been entered into the DVD
Talk Review Database including:
The Zookeeper's Wife - based on the book by the same name, this movie tells the true story of the Zabinski family, their zoo, and their heroic acts during the Nazi occupation of Warsaw, Poland during WWII; The Bridge at Remagen - partly this film is a big-scale epic, partly it's a more cynical, more intimate look at the human cost of warfare and it ends up being above average; and Curse of the Pink Panther - an honest attempt to continue the franchise after Peter Seller’s death, the movie doesn’t work because Blake Edwards and company can't seem to extract themselves from the shadow of Sellers' Inspector Clouseau.
