It'd be a good week to go to the movies. Here are DVD Talk's recent theatrical reviews: Mother! [a 2nd review] - Darren Aranofsky's challenging, terrifying, sometimes even nauseating purging of a bunch of supremely high-concept allegories is one of the most original and thought-provoking, if not one of the best, films of the year; Kingsman: The Golden Circle [a 2nd review] - this second installment works just as well as the first... it doubles down on the R-rated Saturday morning cartoon aesthetic by becoming even more joyfully absurd and wantonly violent; and It - the movie works as a whole, it will definitely scare you, and it's arguably better than the book.
