New Reviews: It, One Million B.C., and Battle of the Sexes
Some cool discs have been reviewed over the past week. Check out these recent entries:
It - Andy Muschietti's adaptation of Stephen King's book isn't perfect, but it is very good… the cast is solid, Pennywise is at times genuinely frightening and there's a lot of good character development to anchor the story quite nicely; One Million B.C. - an ambitious novelty film about cavemen and dinosaurs, packed to the gills with elaborate special effects… the movie is loads of fun; and Battle of the Sexes - a dramatic retelling of the cultural touchstone that was the 1973 tennis match between Billie Jean King and Bobby Rigg.
